Good morning.A Mercer County community is mourning after a mother and her two children tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a devastating house fire in Sharon. Thirty-eight-year-old Sarah Jacobson, ten-year-old Izabella, and fourteen-year-old Kevin all died at Akron Children’s Hospital following the Friday morning blaze on Sherman Avenue. Local police, the State Fire Marshal, and the federal A-T-F are actively investigating the cause of the fire, while local ministries have launched community fundraisers to aid the surviving father, who lost his entire family and all his possessions.In regional legal news, a major drug trafficking pipeline into Lawrence County has been disrupted. A federal judge has sentenced thirty-five-year-old Deandre Smith of Youngstown to over twelve years in prison for coordinating the distribution of massive quantities of fentanyl and cocaine into the New Castle area.And a massive piece of American history is rolling through the region today.
