Tragic Capsizing Incident in Georgian Bay: California Resident Loses Life
A tragic incident occurred in Georgian Bay, where a resident of California lost their life after a vessel capsized. The West Parry Sound OPP Marine Unit swiftly responded to the capsizing incident that took place north of Franklin Island on Sunday afternoon. The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre, Carling Fire Department, and Killbear Marina also provided assistance during the emergency.
The unfortunate incident resulted in the death of the sole occupant of the vessel, a 67-year-old individual from California.
