Former Manson Follower Bruce Davis Dies in Prison: A Look Back at His Involvement in the Murders
Bruce Davis, a former follower of cult leader Charles Manson who was serving time for murders committed over 50 years ago, has passed away. He died at the California Medical Facility in Vacaville on Friday, as confirmed by the Solano County coroner's office. Davis admitted to his involvement in the killings of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald "Shorty" Shea in 1969, where he played a role in the violent acts. Despite not being directly linked to the infamous Sharon Tate murders, Davis had been denied parole multiple times, with Governor Gavin Newsom consistently rejecting his release, along with other Manson followers. Manson himself passed away in prison in 2017 at the age of 83.
