High-Level Diplomatic Talks in Moscow: Putin Meets with U.S. Special Envoys Witkoff and Kushner
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with U.S. President's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner at the Kremlin, along with Russian officials Yuri Ushakov and Kirill Dmitriev. The talks were described as addressing a challenging situation by Putin. Witkoff and Kushner arrived in Moscow on September 5 and headed to central Moscow from the airport in a motorcade. Their visit aimed to revive efforts to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with a previous meeting with Putin in January. The envoys were also expected to visit Kyiv following their discussions in Moscow.
