Moises Announces Armin van Buuren and Laidback Luke as Inaugural Artist Partners: Revolutionizing Music Technology with Industry Icons

Renowned dance artists Armin van Buuren and Laidback Luke have been selected as the inaugural members of Moises' Artist Partnerships program. They will collaborate with Moises to enhance the platform's tools for producers and DJs and provide insights into the future of music technology. This announcement comes on the heels of Charlie Puth's appointment as Moises' chief music officer approximately six months ago.
Moises is an AI music platform that exclusively uses licensed and authorized music for its models. The platform offers a variety of creative tools, such as stem separation, mastering, chord identification, and has established partnerships with music companies like Fender and Ableton. Notable figures like Whitney Houston's estate, Blackstar Amps, and Cory Henry are also engaged with Moises.
The company plans to unveil more high-profile artists and producers from various genres in the coming months to expand its roster of partners. Geraldo Ramos, the founder and CEO of Moises, believes that starting with dance producers as partners is a strategic move, as electronic music has historically advanced through experimentation with new technology.
Armin van Buuren emphasized the importance of technology in the evolution of electronic music, highlighting the significance of artists retaining control over their sound. He expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with Moises to develop tools that enhance producers' efficiency and creativity without compromising their artistic vision. Laidback Luke echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the best tools empower producers to make informed creative decisions and enhance their learning process.
Ramos emphasized the need for the next generation of creative tools to prioritize musicians' input and creativity. He commended Armin and Luke for their understanding of the music industry and their commitment to building tools that resonate with musicians. Moises currently boasts 80 million users across 190 countries, with the U.S., Brazil, Mexico, India, Indonesia, Japan, Turkey, and France being its top markets. The platform processes 2.5 million minutes of audio daily, catering to a global audience of music enthusiasts.
