Update on Investigation into Fatal Police Shooting of Glenwood Pysher IV in Upper Pottsgrove

The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office will provide an update on the investigation into the deadly police shooting of 22-year-old Glenwood Pysher IV in Upper Pottsgrove. Family members have identified the man as Glenwood "Bubba" Pysher, who was shot and killed by an Upper Pottsgrove Township police officer. Police responded to a reported attempted break-in at a home on Snyder Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers encountered Pysher at the rear of the property, leading to a confrontation where police discharged their weapons, fatally striking him.
Pysher's mother mentioned that he had been out with friends earlier in the night and mistakenly went to the Snyder Road house, thinking it was his friend's home. She expressed concerns about the incident and questioned if it could have been de-escalated. Pysher was set to return to college at Saint Elizabeth University in New Jersey to start classes and play baseball.
