Little Big Town Reflects on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Joyful Wedding Experience

Little Big Town recently shared their thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, which they attended almost two months ago. The band members, Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, and Kimberly Schlapman, discussed the event while promoting their latest album, It’s a Dying Art, and upcoming tour, For the Art of It Tour. They described Swift and Kelce as madly in love and very happy, and expressed how joyful and unforgettable the wedding was.
The group, along with their spouses and other country music stars like Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Kristian Bush, and Maren Morris, car-pooled to the star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City. They even sang Swift’s “Love Story” on the way to the event. Fairchild revealed that they were initially kept in the dark about who else was invited and had to subtly inquire to figure it out.
At the wedding, the band members enjoyed hitting the dance floor and kicking off their shoes. They described the experience as exciting and fun, emphasizing how special it was to witness Swift and Kelce’s union. Little Big Town has a longstanding relationship with Swift, having collaborated on the song “Better Man,” which won Song of the Year at the 2017 CMA Awards.
Swift and Kelce’s wedding, officiated by Adam Sandler, was a black-tie affair where Swift had her brother as her “man of honor” and Kelce’s brother as his best man. Little Big Town’s album, It’s a Dying Art, is now available, and they are gearing up to start their For the Art of It Tour on Sept. 24. The band’s connection with Swift and their memorable experience at her wedding have left a lasting impression on them.
