Ford Field Incident: Workers Hospitalized After Ed Sheeran Concert Load-Out
Following Ed Sheeran's concert in Detroit, a concerning incident occurred during the load-out process, resulting in six workers being hospitalized due to injuries sustained. The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration is currently investigating the incident that took place in and around the Ford Field vehicle tunnel, where crew members were reportedly struck by falling equipment. The city's fire department responded to the accident late at night, providing triage support to the injured individuals. Six adults were transported to the hospital, with two taken by Superior Ambulance and four by Detroit EMS. Fortunately, none of the injuries were life-threatening, with two patients in serious condition and four in stable condition at the time of transport.
Ford Field expressed gratitude to the fire department and EMS for their swift response to the incident and refrained from speculating on the cause out of respect for those involved and the ongoing review.
