Ed Sheeran's Crew Members Injured During Stage Dismantling at Ford Field: Updates and Resumption of Tour

Ed Sheeran's crew members were injured by stage equipment while dismantling the stage at Ford Field in Detroit after the singer's performance. The incident occurred near a ramp in a vehicle tunnel as the workers were taking a break. Although the crew members sustained injuries, none were life-threatening, and all six were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Two of the employees had serious injuries, while the other four were in stable condition during transport. Ford Field confirmed that one of the injured crew members was part of their team and stated that they are conducting a full review of the incident in collaboration with the authorities and production partners. Sheeran made a surprise appearance at the Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco the following night, where he performed his track "Celestial" and an acoustic version of the original theme song. Sheeran's tour will resume at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Friday, September 4.
