If confirmed, this would mark Tame Impala's fifth appearance at Coachella, with previous performances in 2019, 2015, 2013, and 2011. Dua Lipa, who has never played at Coachella before, would likely debut new music at the festival in April 2027.
While Tame Impala, Dua Lipa, and Fred Again.. are said to be in the running for headlining slots, one spot remains a mystery. BTS, SZA, Oasis, and Radiohead are reportedly being pursued for the final headliner position, with SZA being considered the frontrunner according to industry sources. Miley Cyrus was also considered but declined the offer.
Coachella 2027 is scheduled for April 9th-11th and April 16th-18th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The lineup release date is unknown, but last year's poster was unveiled on September 16th.
