Beyoncé is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her iconic second album, B’Day, with a special expanded edition that includes the original tracks, B-sides, Spanish-language recordings, and previously unreleased material. The release date is set for September 4, the same day the album was first released in 2006, with a deluxe edition featuring 27 tracks among the various formats available.
The anniversary campaign for ‘B’Day’ kicked off in July with the surprise release of “Morning Dew (Donk),” a track produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams. This song, co-written with The-Dream and DIXSON, offers fans a glimpse into the B’Day era and is part of the expanded anniversary collection, connecting directly to the album's original recording period.
The highlight of the anniversary editions is a four-LP set pressed on 180-gram “Bayou Blue” vinyl. This set includes “Morning Dew (Donk)” and other tracks like “Get Me Bodied (Extended Mix),” “Irreplaceable (Irreemplazable),” “Amor Gitano,” “Listen (Oye),” “Beautiful Liar (Bello Embustero),” and “Get Me Bodied (Mueve el Cuerpo).” The deluxe package also features a 60-page commemorative booklet and two double-sided collectible art prints.
