Turkish and Somali Forces Rescue MV LUTUF from Pirate Hijacking in Somalia

Turkish and Somali forces successfully rescued the MV LUTUF, a Turkish ship that had been hijacked by pirates off the coast of Somalia, according to Somalia's defense ministry. The vessel, flying the flag of Cameroon, was seized on August 17 in the Nugaal region of Puntland state. During the operation, four pirate boats were destroyed, and 14 suspected pirates were reportedly killed.
