Harry Styles' Playful Start to Madison Square Garden Residency: A Night of Music, Tribute, and Fun
Harry Styles kicked off his 30-date Madison Square Garden residency in New York with a playful jab at his audience's body odour. The 32-year-old singer engaged with his fans, jokingly commenting on the New York City armpits during a breathing exercise. Dressed in a stylish outfit, Harry shared a positive message with the crowd, promising a night of dancing and singing together.
During the first night of his residency, Harry paid tribute to the late Dolly Parton, following her recent passing. The former One Direction star expressed his gratitude to musicians who inspired him over the years, specifically mentioning Dolly. He led the audience in singing along to Dolly's iconic song "I Will Always Love You" as a heartfelt tribute.
Harry's Madison Square Garden shows are his only US performances this year, featuring musician and DJ Jamie xx as his support. The residency, spanning 30 nights, will conclude on October 31. Harry has been celebrating the release of his fourth studio album, "Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally," with a global tour that includes a record-breaking 12-night run at Wembley Stadium in London.
As part of his global residency, titled "Together, Together," Harry will perform in seven cities, including Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City (with 30 nights at Madison Square Garden), Melbourne, and Sydney from May to December 2026. The tour promises an unforgettable experience for fans around the world.
