Prince's Estate Unveils Timeless: A Collection of Rare and Unreleased Recordings
Prince's estate has released a new collection of rare and previously unreleased recordings titled Timeless. This compilation features songs spanning from Prince's early days in 1977 to his passing in 2016. While many of these tracks have been circulating in various forms over the years, Timeless includes a previously unheard song titled "Bestest Friend," recorded by Prince in 2012. The song is a lush, heavily orchestrated midtempo soul ballad with beautiful guitar and horn parts that add to its grandeur. Timeless is now available on Legacy Recordings.
