Upcoming Execution: Stacey Humphreys to Face Death Penalty for Double Murder in Georgia
Georgia prison officials are preparing to execute Stacey Humphreys, a 53-year-old man convicted of the murder of two real estate agents in Atlanta's suburbs over 20 years ago. Humphreys was found guilty of malice murder in the deaths of Cyndi Williams and Lori Brown in 2003. The execution is scheduled to take place on September 16 at 7 p.m. at the state prison near Jackson.
