Eric Clapton x Guitar Center: 2026 Crossroads Guitar Collection Unveiled
Guitar enthusiasts have a reason to celebrate as Eric Clapton collaborates with Guitar Center to release the exclusive 2026 Crossroads guitar collection. This limited-edition collection features five models, including a new John Mayer x PRS Silver Sky guitar that will debut at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Austin, Texas. Guitar Center has a history of selling out Clapton-exclusive guitars quickly, with previous models like the Gibson Custom Eric Clapton 1958 Les Paul selling out in under 12 hours.
The new collection is available at Guitar Center stores and online starting on Aug. 26. Fans attending the 2026 Crossroads Guitar Festival can also shop the collection at The Guitar Center Experience, where they can find Clapton's original "Blackie" guitar and other Legends Collection instruments. The collection will be available at Guitar Center until Jan. 27, 2027.
One of the standout guitars in the collection is the Martin 000-13E, which offers Clapton's signature acoustic sound at a more affordable price point. With only 70 guitars being produced, this model is one of the most limited releases in the collection. Another highlight is the PRS Silver Sky, a collaboration with John Mayer, featuring unique design elements and a total of 130 guitars available for purchase.
For collectors looking for something truly exclusive, the Martin 000-42 pairs Clapton's preferred 000 shape with ziricote wood, with only 50 guitars being made in each of the two finishes. The Martin 000-42 Eric Clapton Brazilian is an even rarer find, with only five guitars available worldwide, each personally signed by Clapton.
In addition to guitars, Clapton is also releasing his first signature string set in collaboration with Ernie Ball, exclusively for Guitar Center. The limited-edition set includes three sets of Slinky 10–46 strings in a commemorative tin, with only 5,000 tins being produced as part of the 2026 Crossroads guitar collection.
Proceeds from the 2026 Crossroads guitar collection will benefit the Crossroads Centre Antigua, a treatment and education center founded by Clapton in 1998 to help individuals struggling with chemical and alcohol dependency. Guitar Center's longstanding relationship with Clapton dates back to 2004 when they acquired historic instruments at the Crossroads guitar auction, which are now part of the retailer's Legends Collection at its Hollywood flagship store.
