Beyoncé Celebrates 20th Anniversary of 'B'Day' Album with Special Vinyl Release and Collectible Booklet
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is preparing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her second album, "B'Day," with a special vinyl release that includes a 60-page collectible booklet filled with imagery from the album. Fans can now preorder the deluxe vinyl and booklet set for $149.98, while the anniversary CD is available for $14.98 and the regular vinyl for $44.98.
To mark the album's milestone, Beyoncé will be releasing a special anniversary edition of "B'Day" on her birthday, September 4. The project was teased with the release of the song "Morning Dew (Donk)" on July 4, which started a 60-day countdown to the reissue. A remix pack was later released on August 4, featuring a version of "Morning Dew (Donk)" with Jay-Z.
Originally released on Beyoncé's 25th birthday in 2006, "B'Day" featured hit singles like "Déjà Vu," "Irreplaceable," "Get Me Bodied," "Green Light," and "Ring the Alarm." The album won a Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards. An expanded Deluxe Edition was released in 2007, adding bonus tracks and remixes to the original album.
