A Valentine's Day card sent by Amy Winehouse to her incarcerated husband was recently auctioned in Surrey for nearly £5,000, 15 years after the singer's passing. The card was sent to Blake Fielder-Civil while he was in jail for assault and perverting the course of justice. Winehouse, who was on holiday with another man at the time, had already filed for divorce from Fielder-Civil, whom she had married in 2007. The auctioneer described the card as a revealing glimpse into Winehouse's life and praised her as one of the greatest modern artists.
In the card, Winehouse expressed her love for Fielder-Civil with a heartfelt message, signing off as "your Amy x." The couple's marriage ended in 2009 at the High Court in London. A school cap and tie worn by AC/DC's Angus Young on stage fetched over £10,000, while a vintage Pink Floyd poster sold for £4,810.
