Justice Served: Convictions in Murder-for-Hire Case of Indigenous Rainforest Defender
A Peruvian court has handed down convictions and sentences to four men for the murder-for-hire of Indigenous rainforest defender Quinto Inuma Alvarado in 2023. The court sentenced Genix Saboya Saboya and Limber Ríos Ruiz to 35 years in prison each, while Segundo Juan Villalobos Guevara received a 28-year and four-month sentence.
