Josh Hutcherson Visits SPCA LA Shelter to Support Clear The Shelters Campaign
Animals at a shelter in California had a special visitor this week as actor Josh Hutcherson paid a visit to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles location in Long Beach. Hutcherson, known for his roles in "The Hunger Games" and "I Love LA," spent time touring the facility, volunteering, walking dogs, and playing with kittens. He emphasized the importance of finding good homes for animals in need.
Teaming up with Hill’s Pet Nutrition for the second year in a row, Hutcherson is supporting Clear The Shelters, an annual pet adoption and donation campaign by NBCU Local. As a proud shelter dog dad to two large pit bulls, 14-year-old Driver and 11-year-old Manchi, Hutcherson shared his personal experience of adopting his furry companions and the joy they bring to his life.
Hutcherson encourages people to consider adopting animals from shelters and emphasizes that even if adoption is not an option, there are other ways to get involved, such as donating or volunteering. He hopes to raise awareness about the challenges faced by large dogs in finding forever homes and aims to break stereotypes associated with them.
