Support and Solidarity: Standing with Milligan University After Tragic Cycling Team Accident

Our thoughts are with Milligan University after a tragic accident involving their cycling team on Highway 19E near Simerly Creek Road in Carter County. Two individuals lost their lives in the crash, and several others were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident involved a vehicle and members of the university's cycling team.
In response to the heartbreaking news, East Tennessee State University and King University have expressed their support for the Milligan community. ETSU President Brian Noland shared a message of solidarity, offering prayers for the injured and extending condolences to those affected by the accident. King University also conveyed their deepest sympathies and prayers to Milligan University, describing the incident as a devastating loss.
