Miraculous Reunion: Baby Found Safe After Car Theft Abduction in East Falls, Philadelphia
A baby was discovered safe along a sidewalk in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia after being abducted during a car theft incident late Monday night. The theft occurred on Henry Avenue when a woman parked her car in front of her family's home and it was stolen by an unknown individual. The victim had a tracking device on the car, which helped police locate the stolen vehicle on Parkside Avenue. Inside the abandoned car, a baby seat was found, but the child was missing.
Officers returned to Henry Avenue and found a family member who had discovered the one-year-old child abandoned on a street corner near where the vehicle was taken. The baby was unharmed and reunited with their mother and grandmother. Investigators suspect that the car thief found the child in the vehicle and left the baby along the sidewalk before abandoning the car in West Philadelphia.
