Dr. Charles W. M. Roberts Named President and CEO of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has appointed Dr. Charles W. M. Roberts as its new president and chief executive officer, succeeding Dr. James R. Downing. Dr. Roberts, who previously served as the director of St. Jude’s Comprehensive Cancer Center and an executive vice president, will assume his new role on January 1. Dr. Downing will transition to a faculty position in the hospital’s Global Pediatric Medicine department. This leadership change marks a significant milestone for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
