Oklahoma Man Arrested Multiple Times on Sexual Assault Charges: A Detailed Look at Jeff Kufi Asare's Legal Troubles

An Oklahoma man, identified as Jeff Kufi Asare, was arrested multiple times within a short period on charges related to sexual assault. The first arrest occurred after firefighters witnessed Asare allegedly restraining a woman on the Lake Hefner Trail. Subsequent arrests followed, with charges including felony sexual battery and indecent exposure.
Asare's arrest record also includes allegations of attempted forcible rape and forcible fondling. He was arrested again after reports of sexual assaults involving multiple women at a downtown park, leading to probable-cause allegations of attempted kidnapping and felony sexual battery.
Despite the multiple arrests, state charges have not been filed as the Oklahoma City police continue their investigation. Judges set Asare's bond at $50,000 initially, which was later raised to $75,000 after his third arrest.
Court records reveal that Asare has been involved in numerous legal proceedings since January 2023, including misdemeanor convictions for offenses such as breaking and entering, resisting an officer, shoplifting, trespassing, and marijuana possession. He pleaded guilty to several charges and served jail time in some cases.
Asare's legal troubles also include missing a court hearing in a 2024 case, resulting in a bench warrant. Fox News Digital has reached out to prosecutors and ICE for further information on Asare's custody status and immigration-related details.
