Rihanna Reflects on Roots: Visits Rihanna Drive with Children

Rihanna recently took to Instagram to share photos of her visit to the Barbados street where she spent her early years. Accompanied by her three children, sons RZA and Riot, and daughter Rocki Irish, the 38-year-old musician reflected on her roots. The street, formerly known as Westbury New Road, has since been renamed Rihanna Drive in her honor.

In the pictures, Rihanna and her kids can be seen standing next to a street sign bearing her name. They also posed in front of the house where she grew up, located on the outskirts of Bridgetown, with views of the ocean and Westbury Cemetery in the background. The Barbadian government officially changed the street's name during Independence Day celebrations in 2017, turning it into a tourist attraction and a piece of local history.

Rihanna shares her children with partner A$AP Rocky, with whom she has been in a relationship since 2020. Their eldest son, RZA, was born in 2022, followed by Riot in 2023, and Rocki in 2025. The family visit to Rihanna Drive came after Rihanna attended the Grand Kadooment Day parade during Barbados' Crop Over festival. She dazzled in a turquoise costume adorned with gemstones, peacock feathers, and crystals, designed by Barbadian designer Lauren Austin.

Reflecting on her journey from a kid in Westbury to bringing her own children back to Rihanna Drive, Rihanna expressed gratitude for the experiences life has brought her. The visit served as a poignant reminder of her roots and the importance of family, as she continues to make her mark on the world stage.
