Remembering Christy Knowings: A Tribute to the All That Star

Christy Knowings, known for her role on Nickelodeon's '90s show All That, passed away on August 11 at the age of 46 in a Los Angeles hospital. The news was shared by her aunt, Tyleah Joseph, on Facebook. Knowings had been on life support since suffering an asthma attack on August 7 and was taken off life support on Tuesday.

After appearing on a failed Nickelodeon pilot in 1997, Knowings joined the cast of All That the same year. She was part of the show for three seasons alongside other popular cast members like Kel Mitchell, Kenan Thompson, and Amanda Bynes. Knowings played various characters on the show, including a dental assistant and a newscaster.

Following her time on All That, Knowings appeared on Sesame Street from 2008 to 2011 with her twin brother, Chris Knowings. She was known for her comedic talent and acting skills. Unfortunately, Knowings is the second former All That cast member to pass away this year, after Kianna Underwood's tragic death in January.

Knowings' aunt described her as an outstanding actress, comedian, and an amazing daughter in a heartfelt Facebook post. Details about her survivors were not immediately available. The entertainment industry has lost a talented individual, and Knowings will be remembered for her contributions to television and comedy.
