Lady Gaga, New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson, and Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular contributed to Madison Square Garden Entertainment’s (MSGE) record-breaking ticket sales in fiscal 2026, resulting in a 16% increase in profitability. The company reported a rise in operating income to $141.5 million and adjusted operating income to $262.2 million for the fiscal year ending June 30. Net income reached $66.2 million, with diluted earnings per share (EPS) expanding to $1.38.
MSGE's total revenue climbed 13% to $1.11 billion, fueled by strong demand for live entertainment offerings such as the Christmas Spectacular shows, increased concert events at the Garden, and revenue from the New York Knicks’ NBA Championship. The company hosted 6.4 million guests at nearly 960 live events across its venues, including the Garden, Radio City Music Hall, the Beacon, and Chicago theaters.
The Christmas Spectacular show, now in its 92nd season, achieved record-setting revenues from 1.2 million tickets sold during 215 performances. In the fiscal fourth quarter, revenue surged 27% to $196.3 million, driven by entertainment offerings like Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball tour and increased food, beverage, and merchandise sales. Styles' previous shows at MSG in 2022 were highly successful, grossing $63.1 million from 277,000 tickets sold, making it the highest-grossing headline engagement for any touring artist between 2022 and 2025. Styles is set to perform 30 shows at the Garden for his upcoming Together, Together tour.
