Camp Rock 3: Demi Lovato Returns in a Surprising Cameo

Demi Lovato is set to make a surprise cameo in the upcoming third installment of the 'Camp Rock' franchise, reprising her role as Mitchie Torres. The singer and actor is also serving as an executive producer for 'Camp Rock 3', which marks a return to the beloved series nearly two decades after its debut on Disney Channel in 2008. The film features callbacks to the earlier movies, with the Jonas Brothers returning as well as Maria Canals-Barrera reprising her role as Connie, Mitchie's mother and the camp director.

In 'Camp Rock 3', Connect 3 is in need of a new opening act for their reunion tour and returns to Camp Rock to find one. Campers compete for the chance to open for the band, leading to tensions, friendships being tested, unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances. The new cast includes Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Sherry Cola, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts, and Ava Jean.

Directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, 'Camp Rock 3' is a production of Disney Kids & Family with choreography by Jamal Sims.
