VinSpace Secures Launch Contract with SpaceX for Satellite Deployment in 2027
VinSpace, a part of Vietnam's Vingroup ecosystem, has secured a launch contract with SpaceX, a US-based company, to transport its satellites on a Transporter rideshare mission scheduled for 2027. This collaboration marks VinSpace's first launch agreement and is a significant step towards advancing Vietnam's space industry. The company recently announced its plans to develop and launch its initial satellites into orbit in 2027.
As per the agreement, VinSpace's satellites will be launched as part of SpaceX's rideshare program, allowing multiple customers to share a single launch vehicle. VinSpace will oversee the research, development, manufacturing, and on-orbit operation of its satellites. These satellites will incorporate internally developed technologies to enhance satellite engineering capabilities and open doors for future commercial space applications.
