The 11-minute broadcast will also showcase Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS 22 Chorus, and Coldplay. The show aims to support FIFA's Global Citizen Education Fund, which seeks to raise $100 million to enhance access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide. The event will take place at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, July 19, marking the first-ever FIFA World Cup final half-time show. Sesame Street and The Muppets characters will be part of the show, with over $50 million already raised, including donations from World Cup match ticket sales. FIFA president Gianni Infantino emphasized the importance of education and the show's mission to support children's education and football opportunities globally. The event, curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, will celebrate football, music, and shared values, leaving a lasting impact beyond the final whistle.
