McDonald’s BTS BT21 Happy Meal Collection: A Cosmic Adventure for Fans!
McDonald’s is once again collaborating with BTS to introduce a new Happy Meal collection featuring the popular BT21 characters. The collection, set to launch on July 14 at participating locations nationwide, includes 10 collectible toys with an "in space" theme. Each toy features a different BT21 character on a ring clip, including KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, CHIMMY, TATA, COOKY, and VAN, along with a group toy and a poster with stickers.
BT21, created by BTS in partnership with Line Friends in 2017, showcases characters that embody the traits of the BTS members they represent. For instance, Cooky, Jungkook's character, is known for his boundless energy and heart, while Tata, V's character, acts as a prince spreading love with his robot companion, Van. The collection also includes a QR code on each box that unlocks an interactive digital experience on HappyMeal.com, allowing fans to create music tracks and interact with the characters.
This collaboration marks the third partnership between McDonald’s and BTS, following the successful 2021 BTS Meal and last year's TinyTan Happy Meal collaboration. The release of the BT21 Happy Meal collection coincides with BTS's upcoming performance at the FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, where they will share the stage with music icons like Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber. The group is currently on tour in support of their fifth studio album, 'Arirang,' with U.S. tour dates resuming on August 1.
