Insomniac Events Resolves Legal Dispute with Miami Club Operators, Securing Future of Club Space and Factory Town Venues

Insomniac Events has resolved a legal dispute with Miami club operators, allowing them to continue operating Club Space and Factory Town venues. The settlement ensures Insomniac's ongoing partnership with David Sinopoli, Davide Danese, and Jose Gabriel Coloma Cano. Insomniac will maintain its commitment to Club Space and Factory Town, while Danese and Coloma Cano will operate Jolene and pursue new projects.
The collaboration between Insomniac and the Miami club operators began in 2019 when Insomniac acquired an ownership stake in Club Space. The partnership expanded to include the development of Factory Town in 2022. However, disagreements arose in 2024 when Sinopoli, Danese, and Cano demanded more control and financial compensation for Factory Town. This led to a legal battle between the parties, resulting in mediation and an initial settlement agreement.
Despite the initial settlement, further disputes arose between Insomniac and the club operators, leading to additional legal actions and counterclaims. The parties accused each other of breaching the settlement terms and engaging in disruptive behavior. The legal battle included allegations of unfair business practices and personal attacks against Insomniac's CEO, Pasquale Rotella.
After renewed settlement discussions, Insomniac and the Miami club operators reached a final agreement, bringing an end to the legal dispute. The resolution allows for the continuation of operations at Club Space and Factory Town while enabling Danese and Coloma Cano to pursue new projects. The case has been closed, marking the conclusion of the protracted legal battle.
