Seeking Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect in NYC Sexual Assault Case

The New York City Police Department is seeking a man who allegedly brandished a knife and sexually assaulted a woman. The incident took place on Saturday around 4:40 a.m. near West 10th Street and Fifth Avenue. The 21-year-old victim was approached by an unidentified man who then proceeded to rape her. Following the assault, the perpetrator fled the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities have released a photo of the suspect and are asking for the public's help in identifying him.
