BTS Triumphantly Returns to London: A Recap of the Arirang Tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

BTS recently made a triumphant return to London with a two-night residency at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The "Arirang" tour marked the end of their four-year hiatus due to military service requirements in South Korea. During the concert, band leader RM jokingly claimed credit for England's recent World Cup victory over Mexico, citing their presence as bringing luck to every place they visit.

The group's last performance in London was in 2019 at Wembley Stadium, where they made history as the first South Korean group to headline the venue. The members expressed their excitement and gratitude for being back in London and performing for their passionate fans, known as the Army.

Despite the rainy weather in north London, BTS' supporters were undeterred and fully enjoyed the concert on an innovative "360" in-the-round set. The stage design was inspired by Gyeonghoeru Pavilion in Seoul's Gyeongbokgung Palace and featured visual elements from the South Korean flag.

The concert featured performances of new songs from their fifth album, including "Hooligan" and "Swim," as well as a BTS-ified traditional dance in the track "Body To Body." The highlight of the show was the energetic performance of the 2018 hit "Idol," which culminated in a celebratory parade around the perimeter led by BTS and their dancers.

BTS' return to London was a joyous celebration for both the group and their dedicated fans, marking a memorable and successful comeback for the global sensation.
