Former President Trump's Appearance on Children's Podcast Raises Eyebrows

During a recent appearance on a children's podcast called Storytime with the Second Lady, former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on past presidents, particularly John F. Kennedy. Trump praised Kennedy's looks and mentioned his love for sailing. He also talked about Grover Cleveland and compared himself to the two-term president.
Trump read from a children's book called Presidents Play!, which highlights the leisure activities of different presidents. He mentioned how President Gerald Ford added an outdoor swimming pool to the White House grounds in 1975. Trump joked about not having time to use the pool and questioned his own appearance in a bathing suit.
The podcast episode, hosted by Usha Vance, was recorded in the Oval Office and released for the July 4 weekend. Trump's appearance on the show was more focused on himself than on encouraging children to read. He mentioned that he mostly reads newspapers, especially stories about himself.
During the podcast, Trump also took a dig at former President Barack Obama, questioning his basketball skills and mentioning that golf is Obama's favorite sport. Trump's appearance on the children's show seemed to be more about self-promotion and making comments about his political rivals rather than promoting literacy among children.
