His journey began when a friend in cybersecurity alerted him to the dangers of online predators targeting children. Driven by his faith and a sense of purpose, Lampros started creating fake profiles of underage girls on online platforms to lure potential predators. Shockingly, within minutes, he received messages from numerous adults seeking to engage in inappropriate conversations with the fictitious underage girls. This experience hit close to home for Lampros, as he shared that two people close to him had been victims of sexual abuse in the past.
Motivated by a desire to protect children and seek justice for victims of abuse, Lampros now coordinates with decoys across the country to pose as children online and engage with potential predators. Once an in-person meeting is arranged and discussions of sexual activity take place, Lampros intervenes by confronting the individuals and filming the interactions for evidence. His goal is to gather enough evidence to aid law enforcement in arresting and convicting these predators.
Despite the risks involved in his work, Lampros remains composed and focused during these confrontations, relying on his MMA training and faith to guide him. His dedication to this cause has led to approximately 100 successful catches since 2022, with some resulting in convictions. While facing criticism and legal challenges from defense attorneys, Lampros remains steadfast in his commitment to exposing child predators and educating the public about online dangers.
