Two individuals suspected of shoplifting were apprehended at a Costco store in South Windsor, Connecticut, for allegedly using fraudulent credit cards to steal items. The suspects, identified as Brittany A. Howard and Kasheem M. Williams, are believed to be serial shoplifters targeting Costco locations. Store staff had been alerted about the suspects' previous attempt at a Costco store in Enfield. Upon investigation, officers found stolen financial documents and goods in the suspects' vehicle. Both suspects had active out-of-state warrants, with Williams facing charges in Suffolk County, New York, and Howard in Hudson County, New Jersey. They now face multiple charges, including payment card theft, larceny, identity theft, and conspiracy. The suspects were held on $250,000 surety bonds and were set to appear in court the following morning.
