26th Annual BET Awards: Celebrating Black Excellence in Music, Film, TV, and Sports
The BET Awards are set to make a return this Sunday in Los Angeles. The 26th annual ceremony will be held at the Peacock Theater and will be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on BET and various Paramount networks. The event will be hosted by comedian and social media personality Druski. Cardi B, the most-nominated artist, will be among the performers, alongside Doechii, Kehlani, Tems, Nas, and other notable stars. The BET Awards celebrate the achievements of Black performers and athletes in music, film, TV, and sports.
You can catch the BET Awards on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on BET, BET Her, CMT, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VH1, Comedy Central, and TV Land. Druski, the host of the awards show, will be presenting from the Peacock Theater. The lineup of performers includes Alexia Jayy, Ari Lennox, Baby Keem, Cardi B, Common, Doechii, Don Toliver, George Clinton, Kehlani, Nas, Queen Latifah, Raye, Rick Ross, Tems, T.I., and The War and Treaty.
Cardi B leads the pack with six nominations at this year's BET Awards, including Best Female Hip Hop Artist and Album of the Year for "Am I the Drama?" Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist follow closely with five nominations each. Other artists with multiple nominations include Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, and Latto. Teyana Taylor will be honored with the Icon of the Year Award, while Lauryn Hill will receive the Living Legend Icon Award.
