Zayn, the former member of the popular boy band One Direction, recently released his latest album, Konnakol, which made a strong debut on various charts in the UK. Shortly after the release of Konnakol, Zayn found success with an older track, "Lied To," which unexpectedly became a hit in the UK, landing on two new charts for him.
"Lied To," originally featured on Zayn's 2024 album Room Under the Stairs but never promoted as a single, debuted at No. 11 on the Official Physical Singles chart and No. 6 on the Official Vinyl Singles tally. This marks Zayn's first solo success on these sales rankings, with vinyl sales playing a significant role in the track's performance.
During his time with One Direction, Zayn had only charted once on the Official Vinyl Singles chart with "Midnight Memories" in October 2015. The band, however, achieved greater success on the Official Physical Singles chart, with nine hits reaching the top 10, including chart-toppers like "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Best Song Ever."
In the latest rankings, "Lied To" by Zayn debuted as the fourth-highest entry on the Official Vinyl Singles chart, with Olivia Rodrigo's "Honeybee" taking the second spot. The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go" and Luvcat's "Vampire at the Beach" also made notable entries on the chart.
