Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez to Star in Illumination's Animated Film 'Not Alone' with Adorable Alien Adventure

Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez are set to star in the upcoming animated film "Not Alone" by Illumination, known for popular franchises like "Despicable Me" and "Super Mario Bros." Chalamet will voice Joe, an introverted rocket mechanic, while Gomez will play Fran, a brilliant astro-botanist working on a plant-fueled rocket. The two characters come together to prepare for a groundbreaking rocket launch, but their budding romance is complicated when three adorable aliens seek refuge in Joe's home. The aliens, Dunk, Welly, and Shirm, are trying to escape Officer Zandro and see Fran's rocket as their ticket home. The voice cast also includes Rob Brydon, Diane Morgan, Jamie Demetriou, Brett Goldstein, Allison Janney, and Lamorne Morris. The film is co-directed by Eric Guillon, Claire Dodgson, and Jonathan Del Val, with a release date set for April 16, 2027.
