Virginia emerged as the most patriotic state in the study, boasting a high number of active-duty military personnel per 100,000 civilians and a significant voter turnout rate in the 2024 presidential election.
The top 10 most patriotic states according to the study include Virginia, Alaska, South Carolina, Georgia, Wyoming, North Carolina, Idaho, Alabama, New Hampshire, and Oklahoma. On the other end of the spectrum, Arkansas was identified as the least patriotic state, ranking low in both military and civic engagement metrics.
