BTS fans, known as ARMY, have something exciting to look forward to on 15 September with the release of two new books: BTS Lyrics Inside and BTS Recipe Book. These books, a collaboration between BigHit Music, CAKE Corp, and Hachette Book Group's Running Press, offer fans a deeper understanding of BTS' music and cultural references. The announcement was made as part of this year's BTS Festa celebrations, an annual event for the group and their fans.
BTS Lyrics Inside is a 184-page hardcover book that delves into the meaning behind 10 BTS songs, spanning from their 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life' era to their 2022 anthology album 'Proof.' The book includes original Hangul lyrics, romanised text, official English notes, and explanations of Korean expressions. It also features commentary and reflections from all seven members of BTS.
On the other hand, the BTS Recipe Book is a 256-page cookbook that showcases 15 Korean dishes inspired by moments from BTS' content, such as 'Run BTS!', 'Bon Voyage,' and 'In the Soop.' The recipes range from everyday comfort food to traditional favourites, including kimchi fried rice, Korean fried chicken, and ginseng chicken soup. The book also includes digital codes for exclusive videos and cooking guidance related to the featured dishes.
These new releases follow the success of BTS' previous book, 'Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS,' which chronicled the group's journey to global stardom. The upcoming titles aim to provide fans with unique perspectives on BTS' music, experiences, and interests, breaking down language and cultural barriers to deepen engagement with the group.
With more BTS titles in development and the publishing partnership set to continue through 2027, fans can expect even more opportunities to connect with their favorite group through these immersive books.
