The owners of the Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will face trial for involuntary manslaughter following a roof collapse that resulted in the death of 236 individuals and injuries to over 100 others. Antonio and Maribel Espaillat, the sibling owners of the nightclub, may be sentenced to a maximum of 2 years in prison if convicted. The trial was ordered by a judge on Monday.
