Emergency Response: Suspicious Package with Live Explosive Device Prompts Evacuation in Brooklyn Heights
A suspicious package with a live explosive device led to the evacuation of seven buildings at an office complex in Brooklyn Heights. The device was found in a building at 925 Keynote Circle after a law enforcement K-9 detected the explosive in a box. Among the agencies present was a Cleveland Homeland Security Office. The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives are conducting the investigation. Authorities evacuated nearby buildings as a precaution, and no injuries were reported.
