US Designates Tren de Aragua as Terrorist Organization: Leader Killed in Lethal Strike
The United States has designated Tren de Aragua as a terrorist organization. President Donald Trump confirmed that a lethal strike was carried out on Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, also known as Nino Guerrero, the leader of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua. Guerrero Flores faced charges in a New York federal court for racketeering conspiracy and supporting terrorists over a period of more than a decade. The White House, Pentagon, and US Southern Command did not provide immediate comments on the matter.
