Sunport Boulevard Lane Restrictions: Epoxy Overlay Construction Project Update
Lane restrictions will be in place near the Albuquerque International Sunport starting next week as crews will be applying an epoxy overlay to the Sunport Boulevard bridges over University Boulevard and Transport Street. This construction project will result in Sunport Boulevard being reduced to one lane in each direction, while all ramps and roadway connections will remain open and accessible. Travelers and employees should anticipate potential delays during peak travel times and are advised to consider using alternate routes such as Girard, Yale, University, and Gibson if possible. The work is scheduled to be finished by the end of next week.
