Kenny Loggins, Kevin Bacon, and John Lithgow Jam Out to 'Footloose' on 'The Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots
"The Tonight Show" revived its beloved "Classroom Instruments" segment with a special performance of "Footloose" featuring Kenny Loggins, Kevin Bacon, and John Lithgow. The trio, known for their roles in the 1984 film "Footloose," joined host Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a playful jam session using toy instruments. Lithgow even humorously channeled his character Reverend Shaw Moore from the movie, objecting to the music before Bacon encouraged everyone to dance.
Loggins made his first appearance on "The Tonight Show" with this segment, just a day before being inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The segment has featured various celebrities in the past, including Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, and Justin Timberlake. The last "Classroom Instruments" segment before Loggins' performance was in April with Niall Horan.
