Taylor Swift Surprises Fans at 'Toy Story 5' Premiere with New Song Performance
Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at the world premiere of "Toy Story 5" in Los Angeles, where she performed her new song "I Knew It, I Knew You" on the piano. Swift expressed her excitement about being part of the "Toy Story" universe and praised the film as a masterpiece. She also sang "You've Got a Friend in Me" with Randy Newman. The movie is set to hit theaters on June 19. Prior to the premiere, Swift posed with the "Toy Story" voice cast on the red carpet.
In 2013, Travis suffered a stroke due to viral cardiomyopathy, which led to a coma. Swift recently released "I Knew It, I Knew You," marking a return to her country music roots. The song, co-produced by Jack Antonoff, is her first original material since "The Life of a Showgirl" in October. Swift and Antonoff have collaborated on several projects, starting with 2014's "1989" and continuing through 2024's "The Tortured Poets Department." Their partnership began after Swift's transition from country music, with few exceptions like "Betty" from her 2020 album "Folklore."
Swift's last major venture into country music was with 2012's "Red," which showcased a blend of genres. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
