Important Recall Notice: Honda Vehicles at Risk of Rear Suspension Failure

Honda is issuing a recall for certain vehicles due to potential corrosion of the rear subframes at the suspension mounting points, which could lead to rear suspension component failure. This could result in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. The recall affects approximately 880,500 vehicles, including Honda Pilot, Ridgeline, and Passport models manufactured between 2016 and 2023, as well as Acura MDX models manufactured between 2014 and 2020 and sold in specific states. Dealers will inspect the rear subframe, install a reinforcement kit, and repair or replace components as needed at no cost to the owners.
