Mitski Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Puberty 2 with Deluxe Edition and Vinyl Release

Mitski has released a special 10th-anniversary edition of her acclaimed album Puberty 2 and also announced a new vinyl release. The deluxe edition, available digitally now, commemorates the album that propelled the indie singer-songwriter to greater recognition and success in 2016. It includes two bonus tracks: Mitski's covers of One Direction's "Fireproof" and Frank Sinatra's "I'm a Fool to Want You," previously only found on compilations. A limited colored vinyl version of the 10th-anniversary edition of Puberty 2 will be released on October 30th through Dead Oceans records.

Upon its initial release, Puberty 2 garnered critical acclaim and secured a spot on many year-end lists, including Consequence's Top 50 Albums of 2016 where it ranked No. 11. The album's lead single, "Your Best American Girl," also made waves, landing at No. 8 on Consequence's Top 50 Songs of 2016.

Mitski continues to impress with her latest album, Nothing's About to Happen to Me, which claimed the sixth position in The 33 Best Albums of 2026 So Far by Consequence. Her track "I'll Change for You" also received recognition, reaching No. 2 in The 100 Best Songs of 2026 So Far. Fans can catch Mitski live at All Things Go D.C. in September and on her limited tour dates in Asia. Tickets are available for purchase.
